DIRECTING
As a director, I combine meticulous organization with artistic vision to create polished musical theatre productions. From technical elements to character development, every aspect receives careful attention. Through focused workshops and discussions, I help performers connect deeply with their roles, fostering both artistic growth and compelling storytelling. This balanced approach results in productions that are technically precise and emotionally engaging, creating meaningful experiences for both cast and audience.

My directorial approach emphasized both the intimate moments of storytelling and the grand spectacle of Disney's classic tale. Through careful staging and character development work, we brought to life the enchanted world of Belle and the Beast in a way that resonated with both our performers and audiences alike."
Legally Blonde JR.
The Actor's Charitable Theatre
July 2023
"In July 2023, I had the exciting opportunity to direct "Legally Blonde JR." for The Actor's Charitable Theatre's summer camp program. This unique production brought together talented young performers from across Alabama, many of whom I had previously worked with in various theatrical capacities, for an intensive one-week theatrical experience. Despite the compressed rehearsal schedule, our dedicated cast approached the project with remarkable professionalism and enthusiasm. The popularity of the camp reflected the strong theatrical community we've built, drawing students from different regions to collaborate on this high-energy production. Through focused rehearsals and the cast's unwavering commitment, we successfully mounted a polished and engaging show that belied its brief preparation period. The experience demonstrated how young performers can rise to meet ambitious challenges when given the right support and direction, while also fostering valuable connections among young artists from different communities."

"In December 2022, I directed Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre's groundbreaking production of "Frozen JR." The show made TCT history by becoming the organization's highest-grossing production to date, featuring spectacular technical elements never before seen on the TCT stage. As director, I worked closely with our technical team to incorporate innovative special effects, including advanced lighting designs, fog effects, and creative staging solutions that brought the magical world of Arendelle to life. The production pushed the boundaries of what was possible in community theatre, featuring elaborate set pieces, stunning costume transformations, and carefully choreographed magical moments. Through detailed character work and ambitious technical execution, we created an immersive theatrical experience that captivated audiences and set new standards for future productions."
The SpongeBob Musical
The Actor's Charitable Theatre
March 2022
"In March 2022, I had the wonderful opportunity to co-direct and co-choreograph "The SpongeBob Musical" at The Actor's Charitable Theatre alongside my mentor and longtime teacher, Alisha Jones. This vibrant production brought the whimsical world of Bikini Bottom to life through innovative staging and dynamic choreography. Working collaboratively with Mrs. Jones allowed us to blend our creative visions, resulting in a show that captured both the playful energy and heartfelt moments of the musical. The production featured elaborate underwater-themed sets, colorful costumes, and high-energy dance numbers that showcased our talented performers. Our partnership in directing this show created a unique creative environment where performers could benefit from both of our perspectives and artistic approaches, leading to a production that celebrated creativity, teamwork, and the joy of musical theatre."
